Captain America: Reborn

So What do you guys think of it so far?
I like that Norman is in full scumbag mode in this. Makes me think that Cap will be the one to bring him down.

it would make sense to have cap be the one who takes him down. as for real cap i kinda hope they keep him dead and if they dont he lets bucky keep being captain america and he maybe takes on a new role.

I like Bucky-Cap but I don't see how they can bring Steve back and not make him Cap.

I think it has been another piece of solid writting from Brukbaker. He is one of the few writers that does not bore the piss out of me with a set up issue and when ever he has characters give ultimatums they never feeling like they are looking at the girl tied to the train tracks twirling their mustaches.

I would like to see Steve Rogers come back and Bucky take over as Nomad even if they as been lined up for the Girl Bucky from the heroes reborn universe. But there really is no need for him to do that being that he already has the winter soldier persona that he hasn't fully shrugged off yet.

I've always liked that Bucky carried a gun and that he is much less afraid of killing people than Steve. I never thought that is was a weakness for Steve since he probably killed more people in four years than Chuck Norris has in eighty but the reactions that Bucky gives are usually more along the lines of how I think most people would react.

The art has been pretty standard and has done a great job of conveying the sometimes frantic and gloomy feel of the book.

Although I do think that it is funny that there is Batman Reborn and Captain America Reborn going on at the same time. But I think Batman reborn should have been called reincarnated haha.

So does Hitch know how to draw anything that isn't "Ultimate" related? You would think they are bringing Ult Cap over to the Marvel U just based off of Hitch's art.

Fun story though, Bru can really do no wrong.
