Yep, a little tease for the book I'm working on. More character shots like that to come.

who is writing it mike?

Lil' ole me. Yep, I'm multi-talented. Not the first comic I've written, either. The first one was written by me and drawn by Brian Brinlee (artist of Sky Pirates of Valendor), but never saw print due to the financial backing dropping out (this was back before the advent of web publishing, when you had to have a couple grand to drop to get something printed). Anyway, the current book is a work of historic fiction, but I'm quick to point out that it's a character driven story, NOT a history lesson. I firmly believe that you have to get your audience to care about the characters on a personal level, otherwise the story won't have any kind of emotional impact, and the action will fall flat. The main characters in this story were real people who lived extraordinary lives...but I'll share more about them later...
