| I'll give you guys a more detailed report after the con. Just wanted to make you guys laugh at the NUTS that Wizard/Shamus has. Next years Big Apple Con is at the same time as NYCC! That is poor business sense on the part of Wizard. Spoke to a few artist and they've already said that they'll be going to NYCC over Big Apple. | |

| It's a bad, bad idea. Personally I kinda saw no problem with doing the Anaheim show the same weekend as Chicago because people on the West Coast, well it throws them a bone because let's be honest, they only get one show a year ( a hellava of show but still), we are very spoiled on the East Coast. Scheduling the BAC on the same weekend as NYCC is just a dickhead move and I will not be surpirsed if the companies totally ban the other shows and forbid their exclusive creators from going. Should be an interesting couple of weeks to see all of the stuff that come down from this | |

| They would have to make BAC a media con to have any success. NYCC has the major publishers going to their show already. The guests of honor for NYCC will be the Romitas. Let's see what Shamus does to match that. | |

| So according to Lance Fensterman of Reed Entertainment. He received a call from three staffers on Friday saying with security in tow they were escorted out of BAC and given cash refunds. The reason given was that they were soliciting, but yet if anyone recalls at Baltimore this past weekend. Wizard had a comic book shop that was set up display a big ass poster and selling tickets for the con this weekend. They are getting very unprofessional and sad. Here is a link to the blog that Lance talks about them kicked out. http://www.mediumatlarge.net/2009/10/difference-in-stylesnycc-booted-from.html | |

| Yup. I've meet the NYCC crew. They are all good people. To have them not only kicked out but escorted out by security like they stole something is unprofessional and an embarrassment!
Word got around quickly today about this and a lot of professionals were shaking their heads wondering what the hell is wrong with Wizard and their staff.

| So they just started announcing names for the Toronto Comic Con.....not one comic creator?!??! I know it's early and all but I have to wonder why they still call their shows Comic Cons?
Another thing, on Spat's Facebook page there are pictures of him with the celebrity guests, so it makes me wonder, are the people they are getting people that Spat wants to meet because once this guy got involved, the celebrity guests exploded.
I knew it was a bad thing back in the day when they started to announce wrestlers and now look at it. The comic guests are listed are the bottom

| Trust me... I have a hotel reservation for Wizard World Philly that I can cancel up to the minute I check in. If I do not get press passes to this show I highly doubt I will even be there.
I am already in talks with NYCC to get press passes and I am more focused on going there next year in October then to Philly.

| Next years NYCC will be the biggest one yet. They will have the entire Javits Center and the Javits Center is huge! | |

| Ah, the $20 spent was worth it for the story, and the adventure. I liked the homeless guy telling me that I looked like a cop. | |
