| Yeah it would of been four years old this coming Thanksgiving. Pissed me off.
Hopefully we will be able to just bite the bullet take whatever a dealer will give us and try and get a new one. I kinda of thinking I felt the transmission slipping a couple times now that I think about it but with that much mileage it still wasn't warranty.
If we get this new one, even if something feels minor I will get it checked. Plus when I bought this one the Warranty was 5 years, 50,000 now they do the 10 years, 100,000. Oh well we will see.

How much are they trying to charge you for the transmission? I can't imagine having to junk a 4 year old car.

| not sure yet, its going to be towed and then Im going to find out how much it will cost me. But I was going to trade it in earlier this year and they were offering me a $2000 trade in for it while it was running because of the mileage on it. And from what I have been told is a new tranny can run from $500 - $3000, so it just seems like if they quote it over 2000 there is no reason to even fix it. | |

| there is a possibility that it is fuel injector/filter related. sad part about 2006 Malibu is there is no serviceable fuel injector/filter. I have to drop the fuel tank and remove the fuel pump and what not from there. | |

| I just can't believe we're talking about a 2006. That's a sad advertisement for Chevy. | |

| Check it out under the Lemon Law, there is no way you should be having this kind of trouble with a 2006 | |

| lemon law is if it is still under warranty
The tow truck just picked it up and he told me he believes it is the fuel pump. So thankfully it is a WAY cheaper fix.
