| I know this is for Baltimore but it is really about Big Apple Con. How in the world did they get a guest like the wax dummy of Steve Speilberg? That is an amazing addition and almost sealed the deal of my wife and I canceling going to Baltimore and hitting New York instead.
I also can't believe that they have it listed as a special guest. Finally, Spat is on Facebook, under Errol Spat something, look him up, the tool

| I think Big Apple Con totally forgot that it is a comic convention and just stopped trying to get people. All them seem to be getting are Star Trek people now, it is really looking like a Star Trek con | |

| Yeah the Wizard conventions are no longer comic book conventions they are solely geek cons and such. Pulling together movies of all genres, games, gaming, comic books, wrestling, star wars, star trek. it is getting out of control.
I won't be going to Big Apple... the 17th is my daughters 1st Birthday.

| also about Baltimore I'm trying to pull together a couple of my buddies to go for the ride down there for one day. I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to give us a place to power nap before we got to drive home. it would be awesome if who ever would let us. let me know if you can help. | |

| I just got my tickets to Big Apple yesterday. Actually my girlfriend got them for me...gotta love her...There is only one media guest I'll be seeing and that's Adam West! Other than that I won't be visiting the media side and I'll be sticking to Artist Alley.
I might be helping Greg Horn set up his booth on Friday and I'll be hanging out with Mike over the weekend.

| for those of you who are going to the convention, a little heads up about Saturday. The Baltimore Marathon is that day and there will be road closures here is the site that will tell you which roads will be closed. http://www.thebaltimoremarathon.com/Community/road22d8.htmNow it seems like to me that the majority of them will be closed at 9 am and then reopened after 3. The show doesn't start till 10 but you may just want to set up your schedule for arriving in Baltimore to before 9. Andy the way you come in if you continue straight right after you pass Pratt Street on your right is a parking garage that charges 15-20 dollars depending on the day and is only a block or so from the convention. This is the garage I use for everything in Baltimore pretty much. I highly suggest that you try and get into Baltimore before 9 because some of these roads that are right by the convention center are the roads that are being shut down. Doug, if you are still coming, I don't know which way you will be coming from, but either way is pretty much that same thing and you will be getting off at exit 55. There is a parking garage down by ESPN Zone that I believe is also like 15 dollars. Hopefully this will be helpful to you guys and you can get into Baltimore before they start shutting down streets. | |

| Thanks for the head's up. Man they picked a shitty weekend between the marathon and the Ravens game. I think this might tip me towards staying on Friday night. It'd be tough to drive all the way from here and make it before 9 am. | |
