| ok no one has posted on this thread in awhile and this should be one of the most active unless you guys don't watch movies that is...
Recently I watched....
Defiance If you like WWII genre movies and love to see some fucking Nazis get what they deserve, this is a good flick. Sad at times but makes the point. Not as bad as Schindler's list as far as tear jerkers but good all around. Liev Schriber(sp?), Daniel Craig
Killshot Pretty damn good movie about a Hitman who wants to kill a wife and husband after a botched blackmail attempt. Mickey Rourke, Tom Jane, Diane Keaton, and Joseph Gordon-Lovitt.
Also just watched the stand up of Zach Galifinakiss and one called the Axis of Evil tour... FUCKING HILARIOUS!!!

| I saw UP recently. Good movie as usually for Pixar. Although I didn't care to much for Ratatouie. Thought that was a little lame. UP is funny and a good movie for the kids. It also had a teaser for next years Pixar movie...Toy Story 3! | |

| Up was very good and it was nice to see Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the gang. I do have to say that The Hangover is fucking funny as hell | |

| I'm way behind on movies; got a 2 year old and don't make it out to movies much except for the big ones. Saw Hitman last night. Wasn't expecting much, but ended up enjoying it. Not bad for a DVD rental, IMO. I AM biased in that I like the guy who played #47, loved him Deadwood. I need a good, historically accurate movie about the Crusades, though... | |

| I'm quite sure that me having a daughter is the universe achieving some measure of balance somewhere for past sins. I live in a perpetual state of anxiety over her growing up solely because I know what teenage boys are like. | |

| Hurt Locker is one of the coolest movies I've seen in awhile.
Tyson docu was quite entertaining as well. Reminded me that Tyson was the baddest mofo on the planet for a while. Seriously, would anyone want to fight Tyson in his Prime? No.
I really want to see the new Ali docu Facing Ali.

| Gran Torino...
Awesome fucking movie. Loved Clint in this movie and hell almost every movie he has ever done. But he was awesome in this movie. If they ever made a movie version of Punisher: the End... Clint would be perfect. His character in this movie reminds me a lot of my Grandfather. He is a tough sonabitch that if my grandmother would pass away, I feel would respond this same way.

| Saw Hangover on Friday and that was nuts. Then on Tuesday, the wife and I took the nephew and niece to Land Of The Lost, which was not as bad as everybody says | |

| Hangover is very funny. Not like any of my nights in Vegas but I have woken up wondering what happen the night before.
Gran Torino is my favorite movie of the year so far. Clint is gold in this.

| I just watched Death Wish 2. Such great movies all of them I just love how he just goes and fucks shit up. Kills everything that is oddly dressed. And he is one hell of a crack shot with a pistol. | |

| Adventureland
It wasn't at all what it was advertised to be, but it is a good movie. I was expecting non-stop comedy, but what I got was a surprisingly well told dark story about two people getting together. I recommend it.

Funny People - Not that funny but still good.
I love you Man - Funny guy flick.
Hurt Locker - one of the best damn movies I've seen this yr.
Bruno - JeezUs, the wife didn't speak to me for a few days after making her watch that. Funny shit though.
Public Enemies - I am Michael Mann whore so damn the critics, I really enjoyed it.
Crank 2 - Best damn video game movie not based on a video game. Statham fights so well without his shirt on too.

| I love you Man - awesome awesome movie
Crank 2 - for what it was, it was great. Love when Statham can use his British lingo and accent without worrying to much about the outcome.
State of Play - very good suspenseful thriller
Body of Lies - great CIA movie
Adventureland - boring
Fighting - a bit boring, not enough Fighting (ironic enough)
Last House on the Left - very good revenge movie loved it
Surveillance - pretty cool concept but they could of hidden the twist better.
