Hell yeah I am. I'm asking every one of them to meet us at Delilah's. Including Deal or No Deal #13.

| I like on the main page they now have the Archaia people listed. Spat is really getting desperate to get the page full when you start using a company that personally I have never heard of....have you guys? | |

| No I haven't heard of Archaia... I support Living Corpse because one of the co creators lives a couple of towns down from me. Buz Hasson and Ken Haeser are great guys. Last year I bough Issue Number 0 - 3 and got a free sketch for $5. Then came back and paid another 5 for a sketch from Ken... they were like don't forget your books... told them I already had a set and they told me no go ahead take another set.
Plus the book isn't that bad. Also read the Return from Wonderland they have coming out and it isn't bad at all...I am looking into getting some of the trades, the art is nice but the concept of a fucked up Wonderland is pretty wicked... Getting me ready for Burton's version coming out next year hopefully. Has the whole American McGee feel to it.

| Wow, that's a lot of pages that I can't even read right now. Too much!
I will not be there, of course. I haven't even checked the website since it left my hands, not too keen on seeing what perverse things they've done to my baby. I don't even know if I'll go to any cons anymore period, outside of maybe NYCC.
Unless Chris Bachalo is in attendance. But since no one at Wizard knows how to get in touch with him, and I was the only guy there he was talking to, doubt that'll happen.

They go to promote and they don't really sell anything so they only committed to going to 2 or three cons. San Diego and NYCC being two of them. But according to the folks at Wizard they will have a lot of artist and writers there and will be sponsoring some as yet to named event.
I know Adam was actively working on deals to bring Marvel and DC to Philly and/or Chicago in some capacity, even if it wasn't a big booth, and before I was let go I was pretty sure they were both coming to at least one of the shows. Are neither at Chicago either? Huh.

| Digsy...that was the info past onto me. I'm sure you know more than I do about the con and the status of it. Hopefully you can give us some information as you get it.

| I cannot imagine it costs Marvel or DC too much money to attend Conventions. I mean Friday, Saturday, Sunday of a "BIG" convention which just furthers there ability to promote themselves seems a tad off. It like a car dealership pulling commercials from TV to save money but expects to reap the same profits if not more. But then again maybe its just my thinking thats wrong. | |

You'd think WIZARD would do whatever it took to get them there. This will definitely affect their attendance. If I hadn't already booked my hotel and can't get a refund I might not be going at this point. I imagine the more people that find out about this the more people that will abandon ship.

| I was in charge of getting Bryan Hitch to Philly and Chicago (set that one up for Spat, I'm glad he was there to have my e-mail forwarded to him and then claim it for the win). He WAS invited to both shows, but with Millar being the GoH in Chicago we really pushed for Chicago. Bringing Hitch to the show is costing like, $3000 or so, which is about 1/7th of the entire guest budget. For one guy. So bringing him to BOTH shows is nearly impossible. | |

| Anybody else get the email from WWP that they doubled the guests? Does it count if you never heard of 75% of them? | |
